Johnny Pierce

NOVEMBER 30, 1953 - DECEMBER 12, 2005

Johnny Pierce was a longtime friend to Jimmie Spheeris, and bass player for the band on albums and tours from 1973 to 1980.  Johnny passed away on December 12, 2005, after a long struggle with cancer. His inspiration and tireless support made the CD restoration of Jimmie's work possible. This program owes much to him. He is much loved and much missed. I'll always remember his frequent visits to Sunday Morning Overeasy during the restoration project. No one can ever take that away from me....I am so lucky to have known him.

He lives forever in our Hearts!
